About the Artist
I'm Braden, an artist and curator based out of Seattle, WA. I work primarily in watercolour, pencil, photography, and oil.
INSPIRATION:
I draw my inspiration from the
peculiar minutiae of the human form, symbolism and mythology, the empty
spaces left by missing friends, and the intricate elegance created by
the convergence of biological and mechanical elements.
PROCESS & MATERIALS:
All
of my materials are archival and acid-free. For original watercolours I
use heavy-weight coldpress paper and professional artist grade paints. I
have my work professionally scanned and colour-proofed at Bellevue Fine
Art Reproduction and reproduced in the form
of fine art prints and note cards. BFA uses cotton rag watercolour
papers and Epson UltraChrome giclee inks, so my prints and cards are
archival and always resemble my original pieces as closely as possible.
